Surf Life Saving Education
Stockton SLSC provides education and support to members wishing to gain surf life saving qualification and we encourage all members to at minimum undertake the Bronze Medallion course.
The Bronze Medallion qualification is directly applied to every day surf lifesaving activities, however as Stockton SLSC is affiliated with Surf Life Saving NSW & Hunter Branch we are recognised training organisations that provide courses and qualifications that are recognised in the broader community.
It’s a requirement for all active patrol members to have a Surf Rescue Certificate (Under 15) or the Bronze Medallion.
Becoming confident and competent in areas of Lifesaving Education can assist our members to improve their own personal development as well as be beneficial when looking to further their careers.
